Full loads at high handling frequencies
Some routes run so often that a slow tugger becomes the bottleneck. The INDUROS 700s is built for high handling frequencies: it tows a full 700 kg at up to 6.5 km/h, twice the speed of the INDUROS 700.
Tugger trains for just-in-time and just-in-sequence supply
Lines are supplied just in time or in sequence with trailers on fixed loops. The INDUROS pulls pallet wagons, mesh boxes, platform and frame trailers, and can use unmanned (ghost) shifts to remove empties and bring new material.
Routes between halls, outdoors and in all weather
Many plants grew hall by hall, so material has to cross outdoor areas, door thresholds, potholes and old floors. The INDUROS runs indoors, outdoors and on combined routes (IP65, gradients up to 10%), in rain, snow, heat or cold, without artificial orientation aids.
Coupling and uncoupling trailers without an operator
A tugger only saves labour if nobody has to hitch the trailers. The INDUROS comes with an automatic trailer coupling: it drives to the drawbar with centimetre precision and couples and uncouples trailers on its own.
